What are your current tasks?

The standard tasks of my team include corporate controlling and corporate planning, preparing monthly closing reports, regular planning of the group results and following up on acquisition projects, just to name a few examples. In addition we also take care of special inquiries from the CFO, for example with regard to the effects of market trends on the operating result of Fresenius Medical Care. This requires flexibility, but it also ensures great diversity. This is why every day presents me with a fresh challenge to find new ways to contribute to the bigger picture.

 

How did you join the Fresenius Medical Care family?
Fresenius Medical Care was one of my preferred employers. I directly applied for an open position in Controlling after completing my studies in International Management and Controlling at the University of Applied Science in Ludwigshafen. It was helpful that I had intensively worked with SAP applications during my studies.

 

How has your career developed since being hired by Fresenius?
My tasks quickly became more complex and more international and shifted to the North American region. Three years after joining Fresenius Medical Care I was promoted to Senior Manager and now I am leading as Director a young dynamic team of three. I never expected that committing myself in this manner could be rewarded so quickly, and I was very happy to receive this recognition.

 

What do you consider to be special at Fresenius Medical Care?
Despite the worldwide success and international focus at Fresenius Medical Care, there are no hierarchies, which allows for quick and flexible reactions. As a result, new employees gain access to interesting career opportunities relatively quickly. The momentum with which Fresenius Medical Care is growing and changing is simply contagious.
